About

I am currently a Lecturer in St. Athanasius Provincial Seminary of the Anglican/Episcopal Church in Egypt (AST), and I am a researcher at the Institute of Coptic Studies and Research at Alexandria University (ICSR). For six years I was the publishing director at the Episcopal Publishing House (EPH), and I was also the consultant editor of Orient and Occident e-magazine.

I belong to the Coptic Christian heritage. I hold a Bachelor of Accounting and a Bachelor of Theology. I also hold a Master of Arts in Early Christianity (MA) from the Episcopal College in Egypt in a joint program with the Institute of Early African Christianity (CEAC) in the USA, a diploma in theology from the Institute of St. John of Damascus at the University of Balamand in Lebanon, and a Master of Orthodox Theology (ThM) from Agora University (HTC), USA.

Languages: Arabic, English, Sahidic Coptic, Biblical Greek, Basics of Latin, German (fair), and French (fair)

My areas of expertise: Early Christianity, Religion and Sociology, Coptic Studies, Greek Philosophy, Christian Apocrypha, Trinity, Christology, Middle East Affairs and Politics; in addition to interests in the New Testament and Textual Criticism.
